Josh Freeman Substance Abuse

Josh Freeman Substance Abuse

Perhaps the greatest enemy of all great sportsmen is the illegal drugs. I have seen countless great athletes waste away their talent because they have been poisoned by those drugs. I am a clean person and I have never used any of those drugs so I do not know what kind of tripping you get if you use those. Some say that you will feel very light and happy. You will see different kinds of things and enjoy a very different world. That does sound tempting but you are an athlete, you should take care of yourself. Athletes are also the idols of our young generation. When they see you using drugs they might think that it is ok and start doing it too. All the sporting teams in the world have banned the use of drugs but still there are those who are not detected. This is why I am saddened when I heard the Josh Freeman Substance Abuse news.

What was the news about? Was Josh Freeman Substance Abuse really true? Well it seemed that it was true but he wasn’t using an illegal drug he was just using a drug to treat his ADHD. Well there are certain drugs on the market that will trigger a positive and perhaps Josh used one of them. After the incident he has been undergoing all kinds of testing to determine if he was really using illegal drugs and he passed all of them. That is a sign of relief. I think that if a player has a medical problem he should consult with the team physician and ask if this is ok to take. Knowing that he was taking some kind of pill for his sickness then the team could have brushed off the accidental positive and avoided this kind of drama.

No athlete wants to have his career end. They have worked too long and too hard to achieve were they are now only to be banned because of drug abuse. I think no athlete would take that risk. Now that everything is cleared he can go back to playing the game and nobody should give him a doubt. Things like these gets to overblown by the media. When a person takes some kind of test they immediately say that he is taking illegal drugs. They go straight into their assumption and forget to take the facts. Things like this can end an athlete’s career and it might be because of the media.
