Selena Gomez Russian concert was cancelled and she will not be travelling to Russian according to Selena Gomez representative. I guess, Selena Gomez Russian fans wouldn’t be able to see her. The come and get it singer was scheduled two concert to Russia. Selena Gomez planned performances in St. Petersburg and Moscow when her visa request denied by authorities due to supporting gay rights.  It is because of the latest subject of a new Russian law banning of promoting gay rights or homosexual relationships. The Russian government is afraid that Selena Gomez will use her concert to promote gay rights to people.

If America and Europe welcomed Selena Gomez well Russia is not interested with her. How sad to Selena Gomez Russian fans. Actually, Selena Gomez is not the first foreign artist about banning the concerts to Russia. Lady Gaga and Madonna are also support gay right issue and there was Russian protesters did charge Madonna who claimed she was promoting homosexuality to children. Russian government prohibit foreign artist to perform their country without proper documentation and the main thing here is foreign artist should not support gay rights and all.

I think Selena Gomez is innocent about this issue and we all know that Selena Gomez is trying to give a positive message to the world and suddenly out of the blue she can’t be able to perform to Russia. What about her fans? Well, I think Selena Gomez Russian fans will wait until further actions. Regarding latest Russian law, well we should respect them if they wanted to do it that way. We have nothing to do about it because it is their country.

In my opinion, promoting homosexuality to children is not a good thing of course. Children are not that open minded about it and Russian government is just protecting them. They have the right to do so if they don’t want a foreign artist to perform to their country with the said right. So to those foreign artist planning to perform to Russia better secure a visa first before scheduling so that when all else fails, your fans will not be disappointed. Let’s just support human rights and respect each other country. You know why? Because they are just doing it for the sake of their people and for the country. We have different laws and regulations so better respect it and understand.
